When I add the timeout param, the chat doesn't load.
I must be writing it incorrectly; can anyone show me the right way?

(I rehashed)

Thanks,

Kraven

Just like this:

Code: Select all
$params["timeout"] = 60000;

Thanks re*s.t.a.r.s.*2,

Sometimes I overthink... I've been working on a MySQL Data Base most of the day. I'm trying to work out a registration form and login for the PFC chat on my site.
I'm good with the forms (registration and login), but trying to create a data base and tie it all together has been a bit frustrating.
To take a break, I thought I'd go ahead and change the timeout param, as that was something I had on my todo list.
Well... I punched it in... didn't work. OK... fine... I did it again minus the parentheses.... once again something was wrong.
At that point my patience had just run very thin.

In short, I appreciate that you answered my question... it's been one of those days. :)

I've placed PFC in the profiles of the site's members in a popup window, so members can chat and go.
I haven't started promoting the site yet, and there are several things that are listed in the front page menus that are experiments gone bad, but a quick sign up, and a scroll down in your created profile will bring you to the chat link.

I'm not trying to promote my site... it's far from complete. As a matter of fact, I prefer invisibility until it's further along, but I'll leave a link in anticipation of suggestions.

Thanks again,
