Message line disappear

I am getting crazy... the chat works fine for 90% of the users, but the others are reporting strange errors.

This is what they reported a couple of users today:
They log in the chat
they write a message
the message appear in the chat
they type another message
...and then the box where they can type the message disappears.
They remain with the chat window but the text box is not there anymore.

They have Windows XP,Explore 8

What could it be?
Please.... help....

Maybe there's just a little problem with your browser. Find in the appropriate browser for it. Thanks!

Well, on my browser it works! it is on some users browser which doesn't work. And they use WinXP with IE7 or IE8... not such an old version where I can say update it!!!! On this versions it would work!
