Hello, is it possible to use Php free chat as a customer service chat? like the typical thing you see on websites where you click a button and a rep comes on? I noticed in the demo that it looks like a chat room but maybe it can be configured easily/without technical knowledge as a one on one chat session? Please help, trying to start a home business on a very limited budget. Thanks!

Regards,

Louis

That's not really its intention, but I suppose it's possible. The problem is that you say "without technical knowledge"... you're going to have to write code to handle initiating that 1:1 chat. If you're not able to do that, I'm sure there are better free solutions out there that wont require you to code.

Thanks for the reply. You mentioned others that are customer service oriented and free, could you please give me the name of one? I am trying to start a small business on a very limited budget and I would really appreciate that if you know of something. I only found 2 so far that charge about $60 per month. Thanks again. Louis

Search source forge for "customer support chat" or derivatives of it... that should find it.
