when i start version 1.0 i always start in 'my room' the channel doesn't change that.

how to change the name of that room, and/or how to start with two or more tabbed room.

i tried $params["channels"] = array("Umum", "English","Kencan");

but still get my room....

ps i love version 1 beta. this is great software with a great future.

- try to run the /rehash command (it will delete the cached config) but you need to have admin rights
- or delete manualy the config cache, ie purge the data/private/cache/ directory content.

Bah humbug, how do I change the heading "My Room"
I have tried the below, the problem is that the room name instead of being "fassy" shows up as "f", any name I try it will only show the first letter

Code: Select all
$params =  array("title"         => "Classroom2",
            "channels"       => "fassy",
                "max_msg"        => 21,

Try:
Code: Select all
$params =  array("title"         => "Classroom2",
                "channels"       => array("fassy"),
                "max_msg"        => 21,

None of the above have worked for me. I have deleted the cache and I have tried the array and it didn't work. Is there anything else I could try. I'm still getting the room name _my_room_. THanks for the help

Check and recheck that your cache has been correctly cleared.

I had the same problem first, but when I closed all the rooms and logged out every user the next time the name of the room was changed with the first user who logged in.
