I'm encountering the following problem with 0.9.3:
When a user entered the chat and puts the browser window into background (e.g. by working in another application in the foreground), the chat somehow timeouts after a long while (> 10min). The chat then returns an Ajax-error, "Error: the XML response that was returned from the server is invalid..."
This is anoying as we are using the chat as a personal 1-to-1 chat. The "moderator" (say: first user who entered the chat) needs to be able to wait for a second user while putting his browser window into the background (no minimized though). He gets notified by a beep, a small personal hack I've implemented.
We're running phpFreeChat in a production environment and definitely need to find a solution for this.
I know, my bug report is not that clear, but it's a bit hard to figure out in which circumstances this happens as it only happens after a long while of inactivity.
Could you please tell me if you are aware of this problem and if this has been fixed in 1.0-beta?
thanks a lot
Pipo
