phpfreechat with multiple IPs

I have a server which is used locally via local static ip and also through global ip(broadband) for remote locations and if i open phpfreechat on the server's physical location then i cant see users who have opened via global ip.

e.g. say local users access via 192.168.0.100 and remote users via 56.43.23.45 (some dummy global ip).

how to configure phpfreechat to work on both IPs ?

I'm not sure why there's a difference in this case, but chances are the serverid's are for some reason different... usually this only occurs when a user wants the same chat in two different files, but maybe something else is going on there I'm not considering.

So try setting serverid to a static value (md5('static value of any kind') would work), and see if that does the trick.

the server ids are different bcoz the broadband company offers it via telephone line and the Global Static IP i.e. to access from remote locations ,is given by them and we have to pay for this service that our server is recognised by this IP always...

And we have done NAT settings on the router that any request to the Global Static IP is forwarded to the local ip...but i think your solution will work so i am going to try..

Firstly, the serverid's I'm referring to are what the chat uses to track individual instances of the chat (not sure if that came through from my first post).

The reason I'm puzzled by them being different is that by default the serverid is just an md5 hash of the FILE constant (as returned by php)... so it shouldn't be changing regardless of which way you access it. But as I said, try making it static instead of being based on the FILE constant and see if that helps.
