Well, to be clear, you can get dynamic performance without mysql. But to answer your question, check out demo 55 in your package. :)

Hello,

I tried to set the parameters as demo 55, but I get an error for each parameter, like this:

Error: undefined or obsolete parameter 'container_cfg_mysql_username', please correct or remove this parameter

Help!

As I said in the newer thread about "which is faster?", I was able to connect by adding '$params["container_type"] = "mysql";'

Now that I did that and connected, I had to disable the entire part between '$errors = pfcContainerInterface::init($c);' and '$query = $this->_sql_create_table;'
... because I already had an established db link (I did $db = &$GLOBALS['link'];)

However, I'm still having the same problem as in the file based method: no matter what caches and such I clear, very very often (for as yet unknown reasons) I simply cannot get the chat to load. It hangs on loading.

Combined with the fact that I can't seem to log users out properly by unsetting sessions (I tried several examples posted here on doing it), makes me a not so happy camper. =(
