How To? Always leave room on quit / close

Ok, I'm trying to do something a little different with PFC.

First, I have made modifications so that the user is only shown the tab of the room they are joining. The rooms are determined by a story title. They can have multiple chat windows open against separate stories.

The site could have 1000s of stories. Therefore, the user could hit the max_channels quickly. I don't want to set max_channels to 100000 as that is likely to cause issues.

I don't want the user to worry about closing out the channel and would like the channel to close when the user quits or exits the browser window.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this? Thank you.
