Hi, we've installed the latest PFC onto an Apache server running PHP 5. Many users are using it without major problems (small complaints: erratic sound notification of incoming IM and funky recognition of idle users).....except one user.

She's running the latest Safari for Panther (10.3.9), she has javascript and cookies are on, popups are permitted, and she can successfully use the demo chat here on this site. But when she tries to launch our chat, she gets an endlessly spinning cursor. Safari locks up and must be force quit and relaunched.

We have enabled user/password permission for our chat (this is one diff in our implementation from the demo implementation, of course), but she never gets the log-in window.

There's no problem with our set-up using Safari for Tiger (10.4.11).

Can anyone suggest anything?

Leopard works fine too... Safari version (3.0.4) it is confuding that you are mixing the OS X version with safari b.t.w., how do you know she is using the newest version? And afaik there is just a single version of Safari that is available for all versions of OS X?!

There's a different version of safari for each 10.X OS. She has the most up-to-date Safari for Panther.

We turned off the password protection, and she's able to get in. Any suggestions out there?
