Oh guess I misread the instructions. Is there a setting then for only showing connect/disconnect - and NOT nick changes then?

Sorry, it's not possible.

Maybe I should use a flag system ?
0 : nothing
1 : nick changes
2 : connect/disconnect
1 + 2 = 3 : nick changes and connect/disconnect

Is it a good idea ?

Or perhaps bit operators like:

NICK_CHANGES ^ CONNECT_DISCONNECT

Like PHP's error reporting.

It is bit operators.
1 OR 2 = 3

The difference is, I don't uses "define" but only numbers

$params[\"shownotice\"] = 1 still shows nick changes
