Problem with kicking somebody with spaces in their names

Ok,

I have a rather obvious issue here...

We allow spaces in our usersnames at our website, which carry over to the chatroom.

So, when we attempt to do a /kick it simply does not work because the syntax is set to recognize the space as the break mark.

So, can somebody please share with me how to fix this withOUT removing the spaces in the usersnames.
