I'm posting these two bugs here becayse SourceForge is not only a complicated mess but has not sent me any verification email.

Bug #1 - pfcglobalconfig.class.php
Editing this file what-so-ever breaks the chat. This is a BIG pain in the butt as I can't get rid of the color black for nick names (as my site's default background color is black). I'm on XP and open the file in Wordpad and save (for formating purposes). If I open the file in notepad next and make any changes the chat breaks then. I can save it over and over without making changes in notepad and the chat still works but making any changes to the existing code (besides line breaks between Windows / *nix) it breaks.

Bug #2 - Local vs IP Access
I have implemented the chat locally for testing purposes and have invited a couple friends to test it out with me. Being in the exact same chat room for some reason must access my local system via my IP address to see and write to other people. If I am in the chat room locally (http://localhost in example) I can not see other people, their messages, nor can they see my messages sent to them. This also includes private messages.

You can post bug report anonymously.

Bug #1 : you never have to modify pfcglobalconfig.class.php, all the parameter must be set in the params array.
example:
$params['nickname_colorlist'] = array('#CCCCCC','#3636B2');

Bug #2 : I don't understand the problem, could you reformulate it ?

1.) Why would I want static values? For example my website's primary theme has a black background. So when I saw names being styled with black text I went to change it and fixing the black color to a different value corrupted the chat room! How the heck does one break a plain text file by changing a value in a variable? I changed it back to black and it was still broken?

2.) If I run the chat from http://localhost and then open another tab with http://xx.xx.xx.xx (internet IP) I can not see and interact with people accessing my IP while I look at the page from localhost.
