IIS 6, PHP 4.4...Anybody have PHPFreeChat runing

Seems that PHP & apps have gone dowhill since 2 years ago. Seems way hard to get php apps to work. Everybody says Write permissions are required.... my IIS 6 says that everything from my Virtual directory Chatphpfreechat-0.9.3 . I get the "the xajax Javascript could not be included" error when I run Index.php. The has a lot of missing icons that I know are there. Read some where else about how IIS & Apache uses the slashes differently. Has the PHP world gone completely LINUX?

BTW this is my own server & I have complete control (stop laughin) over it.
