Deleting single text lines from chat

Hi. I've searched through the forums and am not finding what I am looking for. Is there a means of removing a single line (say someone says something inappropriate or accidentally types information into the wrong room) from the chat history that is displayed when someone enters the room? I don't want to remove the entire conversation - just a line once in a while.

I tried experimenting with altering the chat.log file and even deleting it, but the history is still present even after a rehash and refresh.

Unfortunately the only way to get is that somebody from the forum share it or that main coder developer to do ...
