Hello everyone!

First of all, thanks for giving us this great chat, it's awesome.

I have a Debian server and I installed phpfreechat before but, now, when I untar the files and open the web browser, it gives me a file instead of showing the chat.

What I'm doing wrong?

I followed this instructions:
http://www.phpfreechat.net/quickstart

Greetings.

Gracias, I finally solved the problem.

I added this lines in to the apache2.conf file:

LoadModule php5_module modules/libphp5.so

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .php .phps .phtml

Nos vemos por el foro!

Greetings.

No, I wouldn't say it was obvious. I would say you didn't read through the thread that's linked at the top of everything under the heading 'Announcement' though. ;)

Hello, OldWolf.

You're absolutely right, sometimes I'm angry when I see people creating redundant posts because they don't browse a little the website.
Now I've been one of those, sorry.

I have Php Free Chat working right, thank you.

Regards.
