How to............use phpFreeChat with Xoops

Hi all.

I am pretty new at this, so please be gentle

I am using the Xoops (www.Xoops.org) for my own website, and i would like to intergrate this fantastic chat to it.
But i cant get the chat to "grab" the username from Xoops.

I have tried to merge some different scripts i found on the internet, but I still can't get the chat to use the username from Xoops as nick in the chat.

Does anyone know that script to make it work?

Really this is a question for the xoops folks. Ask them how to get a variable with the nick name stored in it from that software... then just set that to $params['nick'].

Okay thank you. I will try this, and post a working solution, so anyone who uses/or want to use Xoops can copy/paste it
