Chat window not rendered in IE7 when installed in buddypress

I installed Php free chat as a plugin with the latest buddypress, and placed it on a page using the shortcode. It works in FF, IE8, etc., but not in IE7 where the main chat window is not even displayed.

Unfortunately plugins are not supported from us...

we can help you out with the stand alone version..

most certainly the plugin creator would be able to help you out..
