Can\'t Get the \"Choose Nickname\" Function to Work

Hello. I just got my chat room up and running for the first time and followed the instructions for making two changes in the parameters: first, for getting the "Choose nickname" function to work, and second, to change the title. I removed the entire nick parameter line, then typed a new title in the title parameter line. When I was done, I went to the chat room and typed /rehash in the message line and sent it. I got the message that "configuration has been rehashed."

I quit the chat room, closed the browser, and waited for a while. When I returned later in the day, the two changes still hadn't been made, but they're still saved in the script. What am I doing wrong?

Never mind! I figured out what the problem was. It was a stupid mistake on my part, because I accidentally uploaded two chat rooms and deleted one, but somehow had an extra index.php still hanging around. I was making my changes in the wrong index.php....
