I installed phpfreechat as an WordPress Plugin and tried the online demo of the "normal" version.
With IE8 the userlist - supposed to be above or below (I'm not sure, since dislocated) - the input-field, is located right on top of the input-field and thereby it is really hard to type a message or even to focus the input-field.
It seems to be an CSS-problem.
Is anybody out there to gimme an hint, where I've to put the correct values?
Thanks.
(Please don't tell me to change browsers, there is really no reason - but philisophical convincions- to use another but IE-browser)

I'd suggest you do a little searching on the forum. This has been asked and answered dozens of times, and is even in the FAQ. ;)

IE8 some styles do not load.

I fix the problem add new line in the file pfcgui.js located in data/public/js

line 161

Code: Select all
oc.style.position = "absolute";
oc.style.right = "0px";
oc.style.top = "0px";
oc.style.width = "20%";
