I have worked towards providing personal profiles for registered users that includes the usual things like gender, avatar, but also a photograph of their own choosing, a favourite emoticon, a favourite quote, and so on - and in the next few days, to be able to upload and use their own private emoticons.
There's also a "wall", a simple one thread page to post messages that other users can view, days, or weeks later
In other words, there's a continuum of the chat experience, to bolster and enhance the 'chat community'
It would be nice to see these features made available in the next release
