I would like to add a crown that I have in a icon format at the moment and make it so when ever I talk it shows the crown if I'm the admin of the chat.

Do you mean, change the user-admin.gif?
That is, change the default image with the little star to your image with a crown ??
The fastest way is to save user-admin.gif in the themes/images folder as user-admin.old.gif and save your new crown image as user-admin.gif into the themes/images folder.
In other words, just overwrite or replace the image with your one. Keep it small though I suppose - I have used an image 35 pixels by 35 pixels.
