Please explain some commands

Hi everybody,
I've not understood the function of the following commands:
/debug
/deop {nick-name}
/op {nick-name}
/who {channel}
I've tried to run it, but no happen.

To be honest, I've never looked into debug... not sure what it does.

/op and /deop allow you to give some one temporary operator status (they can moderate the channel).

/who is supposed to tell you who is in a channel, but it seems to be buggy.
