AJAX based Chat buddylist (site wide seperate of chat)

The most useful feature for the chat room would be to have a seperate script that uses AJAX to update a list of the names of people in the chat room on any page (other then the chat room itself). If it updates (especially via AJAX) people will see others ARE chatting and will be encouraged to use the chat room!
