Hi,

I would love to see a moderated chat feature in phpfreechat.

In a moderated room normal users cannot post messages but they can send their question to the Moderator who then can (if approved) post it with the users prefix.

This is especially useful when a VIP is in the Chat.

Any chance for this feature?

I'd also like to see this feature, or at least a voice/devoice command.

Can anybody confirm if this feature has been added yet? If not, I would be willing to offer a donation towards this site, to help make it happen...

OK, if anybody can help me modify phpfreechat so as to allow for a moderated chat, I've got $300 with your name on it. It must work as follows:

* Regular users can submit messages to the chat, but they are only visible to admin users

* Admin users must approve or deny each message as it comes in

* If approved, the message is immediately visible to all users

* If denied, the message is discarded

If it causes problems that there could be multiple admins in the chat, I am fine for one specific admin to be preselected as the moderator.

I'd like whatever code I pay for to be released to the community, so your copyright in the work must pass either through me, or directly to phpfreechat's founders, as you prefer.

If you think my offer is not generous enough, please respond with a quote (and timeframe) within which the work could be performed.

This offer has been withdrawn, I'm afraid. I elected to just put money into purchase a $400 for-pay product instead, and am no longer using phpfreechat. The main thing that prevented me doing so is the completely unacknowledged issue with timeouts that has been reported by dozens of people here, including myself.

Hello,

Is there any chance for this feature to be added?

Thanks
