I am referring to http://www.phpfreechat.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=620
if anybody has seen again these *ugly* javascript alerts.
Well IMHO it would be better to show these popups in the document in a "debug" area with DOM and not us popups because one may be in work and not want these message boxes to popup suddenly.

But if you find this necessary then a directive parameter to not show any popups would be highly desireable in my case ..
Ohh and what about this http://www.phpfreechat.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=36 ?
Forgotten?

No there's no change in any code.

It's my girlfriend that sees them sometimes, when she browse the chat from her work.
Possibly, they occur because of the local lan there (advanced security , proxies, overcrowded .. who knows ..).
Personally I ve rarely seen them. Only remember, that as the friend in the link wrote, they had to do with invalid xmlresponse, "you have whitespace" etc...

I remember that in a previous phpfreechat version she worked out the JavaScript code
and the errors may happened again but she omitted the popups.

So I am talking about a javascript alert that can be omitted.
