It would be great if there was an option to open the Smiliebox in a seperate window.

Also a maximum height for the smiliebox would be great (for the not detached box). If there are more smilies then fit in the box just add scrollbars (like in the pre 1.0 versions?)

Greetings
Thomas

I like the smileybox just above the input box. I like it. Maybe to have a param to specify the smiley box position or visibility. But I think PFC needs to improve the performance and this is the 1st thing which should be solved. Or it is useless for me :-(

I made a seperate iframe window for extended smileys, but couldn't target (focus) the message input bar, so had to use a simple form HTML coding, to copy & paste into clipboard routine.

I'd love to have a secondary smiley set, that could target the message bar, just like the default ... maybe some day!!

Open chat.html.tpl.php and delete this line, near the bottom:
<div id="pfc_smileys"></div>

Open your main chat page and insert the same line anywhere convenient (ie, outside of another div) after <body>

Code: Select all
    <div id="pfc_smileys"></div>

scroll up, and paste the css to control this, after the <head> tag and before </head>

Code: Select all
body div#pfc_smileys {
width:120px;
float:left;
padding:30px 2px;
margin:0 4px;
border: 3px solid #000000;
}

I had to add <style> tags to the css to make this work, but still having problems making it "float" ?

All the best,
Cal :)
