i try to run phpFreeChat in an IFRAME.
works great !

but there is the problem of users closing the iframe stay 'connected' in the chat.
if the user doesn't disconnect before closing, this leads to an js-error in the 'main' doc.

i have the possibility to run a (js) function at the onClose of the iframe.

is there a phpFreeChat-function which i can call to close the chat nicely for that user ?
or is it possible to create one?

thx anyway =).

There is one, though I can't say which it is off the top of my head. Just check which one the button uses. :)

You can also just reduce the time out parameter a bit more.

Nope. Too much confusing to me.
I have a Shadowbox with phpFreeChat in it.
I thought i call a function on the ShadowBox onClose to close the chat.
Didn't work (perharps because i don't understand js much !), or because there a two documents?

I give up.

Well keep in mind that the JS function to send content on the changing of the page (is it onclose? I don't remember) does not work with all browsers... and quite frankly is a little unreliable. :/

You will need the function to be on the same page as the chat I believe.
