XBM messageboard member id crossover / Use same ID on XMB bo

I have a forum and chat on the same page and want to integrate them. I want a login system that will login to xmb bulletin board and the chat. I also want users to get a user id from one and have the same user id on the other. Like you sign up for xmb bulletin board and the username id is also your chat user id. How can I do this.

Is there a way to at least use the same user id for the xmb and the chat without a seperate login system ?

Find out how XBM handles user management, then apply it to this chat by setting the nick to the nick provided by XBM, and setting frozen_nick to true.
